Visitors:
Lot of help today with some excellent spotters.
Dallas Shoun and Wayne Brickey from Kingsport, Tn. Shane Williams with his
brother Greg and sister-in-law Jessie from Knoxville, TN. Michelle Sparks
from TN and Jonathan Kammel from New York City.
Weather:
Fog and clouds early then intermittent sunshine throughout the day. Winds
from the S or SW, Hazy over the valleys most of the day.
Raptor Observations:
Good flights today. Four Bald Eagles and our second Peregrine Falcon. Most
of the hawks were visible without binoculars.
Non-raptor Observations:
1 Red-headed Woodpecker and a few Monarch Butterflies.
Predictions:
Forecast is for rain and thunderstorms with stronger winds from the S. It
may not be a good day for the hawks.
