Weather:
Sunny, blue skies. Temp. 8-12C. Very light SW breezes, dropping to no
breezes by 1pm. Clear visibility.
Raptor Observations:
Blue skies presented quite a challenge in spotting birds today. 3 Bald
Eagles, all adults: 11:09am, 11:30am, 2:30pm. Three more Harriers.
Non-raptor Observations:
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.
Several large flocks of Cedar Waxwings.
4 Monarchs.
2 Hot-Air Balloons over Charlottesville in late afternoon.
Predictions:
Some clouds in the morning will give way to mainly sunny skies for the
afternoon. High 64F. Winds light and variable.
