Raptor Observations:
With hopes of a cold NW front moving in overnight with strong NW winds,
Gabriel put in a few hours in hopes of finding some late season migrants.
His efforts ended with 8 Red-tailed Hawks and a Sharp-shinned Hawk.
Non-raptor Observations:
Probably a first for Rockfish Gap Hawk Watch, a flock of 12 Red Crossbills
flew southeast through the gap and gave good looks. A lone Tundra Swan
spotted flying southeast at 9am.
