The monthly Merrimac Farm WMA Nature Walk sponsored by the Prince William
Conservation Alliance was held this morning, attracting 4 birders. It was a
pleasant, brisk late fall day at Merrimac, but not very 'birdy'. We only
spotted 24 species, and all of them the 'usual suspects'. The Prince William
Conservation Alliance Merrimac Walk takes place on the last Sunday of every
month at 8 AM. Merrimac can be a little hard to find, so check the Alliance
website at http://www.pwconserve.org/ for directions.
