Weather:
Sunny in the morning, partly cloudy at midday, mostly cloudy by 4pm, and
clearing by 5pm. Temp. 20.7-27.2C with light E-SE breezes. Fair visibility.
Raptor Observations:
Our first Northern Harrier was spotted in late morning. A few scattered
Broad-winged Hawks. A group of 5 BWH circled in the sky for nearly 45
minutes in late afternoon, catching insects on the fly, before finally
moving southward.
Non-raptor Observations:
Two Hummingbirds. More deer spotted foraging near the tepee.
Predictions:
Similar to today but with an increased risk of a thunderstorm.
