Observers:
Visitors:
Megan Szymanski promises to bring her husband Morgan Pierce to help
someday. As a birder from Cornell Ornithology Lab she proved a quick
study.
Weather:
Blue sky, breeze from the West, temps 56 - 64F (13-18C). High whispy
clouds at day's end. Very pleasant day.
Raptor Observations:
Few migrants observed naked eye. But birds were constantly moving at
altitudes beyond my vision. The strain of constant scanning a blue sky ...
well I don't need to tell you ... every bird found was a victory.
Non-raptor Observations:
Predictions:
Cold front headed this way so we may see migrants trying to make progress.
