Hello all
The Harris's Sparrow that is still coming to the Houff's feeders is showing
more adult plumage . If anyone out there has not seen this bird as of yet ,
your chances are still pretty good . I think as long as the White -- Crown's
are still hanging around this Sparrow will still be around too.Call first 1 --
540 -- 234 --0494 . Directions -- I 81 N or S to the Weyers Cave --- Grottoes
Exit ( also same exit for Blue Ridge Community Collage ) . This will put you on
Rt. 256 go east to the light in Weyers Cave --- turn left at light onto Rt .
276 -- go about a mile & you will see a green sign for Pence Lane ( left turn
) . The Houff's home is a two story brick. The bird hangs out back under a
flowering quince bush . Good Luck
