Visitors:
Did see 2 through hikers today who were grateful the rain had stopped.
Thanks to Allen for keeping me company for the short time we were up at the
watch.
Weather:
After yesterday's storm, we dealt with a low ceiling that prevented hawk
watching today. Temp was in upper 60's and muggy. Very slight ESE breeze.
Raptor Observations:
With main watch being socked in, drove to some lower areas and was able to
see an RT and several TV's today.
Non-raptor Observations:
A hooded warbler landed in one of the trees at Harvey's Knob. 2 monarchs
today.
Predictions:
Cloud base is rising allowing much better views.
