Visitors:
No visitors, no hikers, no motorcycles, no gnats, no stink bugs but plenty
of pot holes getting worse by the day.
Weather:
Clear skies with strong winds from NNW at Beaufort 3 with gusts at 6.
Temperature from 51.9 F to 53.9 by end of day. Humidity from 43% dropping
to 25%. Visibility 5.
Raptor Observations:
Very few raptors were sighted today. The Blue Ridge Parkway was closed for
4 hours. The watch begin at 3 p.m. and ended at 5 p.m.
Non-raptor Observations:
18 TVs were observed late afternoon and given flight pattern deviating from
their normal flight patterns I believe they were migrating. Blue Birds and
Robins in large groups that may have been in migration. They certainly
were moving on.
Predictions:
