I observed 1010 Broad-winged Hawks, 10 Sharp-shinned Hawks, 6 American
Kestrels, 2 Bald Eagles, 1 Red-tailed Hawk and a single Osprey from the summit
of Buffalo Mountain yesterday from 10 AM-5 PM. As has been my experience there
previously, many of the BWHA there were less challenging to see than at other
sites I've been to. The majority of them were "eye-ball birds" at some point as
they passed over.
