I work at the Norfolk Naval Base which is the same location as the Norfolk
Naval Air Station. Just about every day, I have been seeing a hawk or two
fly across I-564. Today, I was fortunate enough today to see a hawk (not
sure if it was a Red Tail or a Cooper) in a full dive downwards onto some
prey which was out of sight. Anyway, for at least the next month I will be
able to see the hawks fly around before they begin their migration. Anyone
going to the Eastern Shore Birding and Wildlife Festival?
