Hello Birders..
As Barbara Houston and Rachel Echols reported we were all at Hog Island on Tuesday. It is an amazing place. Never seen so many Eagles in one spot. Lots of warblers and a whole herd of Orchard Orioles.
Images can be found here. I would have had more but both camera batteries were dead ( my bad).
I do need a bird ID on the last two images, and would appreciate any info as to what they are. I think the first one is a female Orchard Oriole. The second "whatbird?" I'm not sure of at all.

Also I got an image of the enormous Snapping Turtle that has been lurking in the waters at Crewe's Channel when I was there yesterday. It's pretty much flooded again and there were no birds. I hope the "Monster from the Black Lagoon" isn't responsible for the lack of bird life.
Here it is.. basking in the sun at the base of the Beaver Dam ( note the turtle next to it, which was a large turtle by my standards) Eeek!

Happy birding this weekend.
