Over the last two weeks, I have noticed a significant increase in hummer
activity at my feeders. Since the late spring until a few weeks ago, it was
unusual for me to see more than a hummer or two a day, if I was being
observant.
Now I can see at least one or another hummer-visitor nearly all the time.
I frequently see battles between two and even three hummers.
Anyway, nice to see the hummer activity picking up in my yard.
By the way, adding LOTS of feeders in my yard did not bring in more hummers
this spring and summer. So, if you build it, they might not necessarily
come!
I love my hummers, wish I had more of them.
