11 of us came together on this morning's Huntley Meadows Monday Morning
Birdwalk in the snow, rain and chill. We spotted 38 species despite the less
than optimal conditions. There were few highlights - perhaps the lone
Pied-billed Grebe was the outstanding call of the day, but the 6 Wilson's Snipe
were fairly exciting as well. I am particularly fond of Thrushes, so the
sighting of Eastern Bluebirds, American Robins and a couple of Hermit Thrushes
made my day.
