The Central Pond was frozen over this morning, Monday, 1/10/2004, at Huntley
Meadows Park. This morning was also one of the few without Mallards at the
Pond. Eight observers were rewarded for their efforts by a view of a
Sharp-shinned Hawk near the Tower. The temperature was cold, the wind was calm
and the skies were sunny from 0700 to 0900 for the regularly scheduled Monday
