Another birder and I (I hate it when I can't remember names.)
(A volunteer with Huntley Meadows)
found an anhinga perched on a wooden mound of some sort towards
the right and far side of the deeper water where the egrets tend to hang
out.
Stayed in place the entire time we viewed it. We could clearly see the
pointy yellow bill
and the light brown chest. Perfect light and posture for nice viewing at
4:00pm.
Unfortunately the visitor center was closed so that I couldn't log it in
their
journal for posterity.
Nothing else of note.
