I took a stroll down the Hike-Bike and Pond Trails into the main meadow this
morning. Not a whole lot happening but got my first of the season Hermit
Thrushes along the Pond Trail. I found several Field Sparrows mixed in with
the Song and White-throated Sparrows in the main meadow. Field Sparrows
stopped breeding in this location almost a decade ago, so it was nice to see
them here, even in the "off season."
