Both the ICELAND and GLAUCOUS GULLS were at Occoquan Regional Park on
Tuesday around midday. I shot photos and video of both. The photos are in

. Both birds were very cooperative, and I shot video of the Iceland Gull
bathing and spreading its wings.
I then stopped at Pohick Bay. A lot of waterfowl were there. Of the 16
species of ducks, the highlight was an adult female LONG-TAILED DUCK. She
was far away and diving a lot, so I could not get a photo, but I did have
some prolonged looks in my telescope.
