Sparrow is coming to a feeder in Weyers Cave the northern most part of Augusta
County .Checked it out last night at 7 pm & there it was , An Imm. Harris's
Sparrow feeding along side a variety of birds . Yulee went this morning & saw
the bird . She asked the hostess ( Mae Houff ) if we can share the bird with
other birders thru out Virginia . She is willing to share this bird with
everyone ! Directions --- Call first 1 -- 540 -- 234 -- 0494 to see if the
bird is still around . Take I 81 North or South to the Blue Ridge Community
College exit onto Rt. 256 East Weyers Cave --- Grottoes . Follow 256 to the
light -- turn left onto Rt 276 Kezzeltown road ---go about a mile -- you will
see a sign for Pence Lane -- turn on this lane a left . Her house is a two
story brick. The feeder is just beyond the car port next to a rail fence &
Cedar tree . Good luck.
