Just this past weekend, I noticed significantly increased hummingbird
activity. The fighting has increased and I estimate about 8 hummingbirds
around the house. The few summer resident hummers that I have appear to
still be present (although I have no real way to know for sure other than
perching behavior, habits, domination, etc.)
