VA birders:
I was pleased to see that someone has been working on the elevated trails at
Julie Metz. The numbers were lower here than at Leesylvania, but I still found
a nice variety of birds. I found a singing Red-breasted Nuthatch, several
Rusty Blackbirds foraging on the forest floor and several Wood Ducks in the
marsh. It was nice.
Good birding!
