After reading Stephen Johnson's note on the Juncos and Fox Sparrows, I saw
a Junco this afternoon in backyard and 2 another day in March. and only one
other time in Feb.
Have seen no Fox Sparrows, but have not thrown out the mixed seed on
ground that I usually do in winter.
Have enjoyed listening to the songbirds past 2-3 weeks. Especially the
Brown Thrasher with his mocking tunes. I see he has found a mate today, as
well as some of the other birds around the yard. Nice to hear the birds
singing again ...
Don't forget to spring your clocks ahead an hour Sat. night ! !
