Greetings to all:
On Saturday 09/06/08, I got down to Kerr Dam at 11:30 am to look for
seabirds that might have gotten blown in with Hanna.
I saw mostly DC Cormorants and an Osprey or two along with a large number of
Black Vultures soaring around.
When I reached the top of the dam and after looking for about half an hour I
was joined by Les Todd of Oxford, NC. The only seabirds that we saw were
two small unided birds flying low above the water and while we were getting
out of our cars we lost sight of the the birds and after searching for
nearly an hour we were never able to find the birds again.
