Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end   time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter:        Anna Stunkel

Observers:

Weather:
Light to moderate winds mostly wavered between east southeast and east
northeast, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid seventies
to mid eighties.

Raptor Observations:
Broad-wing movement picked up a bit today, and several peregrines passed.
It's nice to see some consistent migration of a few peregrines per day this
early; hopefully it bodes well for a strong movement later as well.

Non-raptor Observations:
Since two additional hummingbird feeders have been added to the platform,
activity has been hopping! Today I estimated about eight Ruby-throated
Hummingbirds zipping back and forth, quite possibly more. Tree Swallow
movement suddenly burst forth today, with at least a couple hundred of them
flying. Three Glossy Ibises were seen on the east side. A Common Five-lined
Skink was sunning on the platform this morning. An assortment of various
fuzzy caterpillars were crawling around on the platform, also.
