Weather:
Poor, uncooperative weather. Thick fog and mist in morning (9-10am) at the
Inn on mountain. Terrible visibility. Moved to alternate count sight at
Constitution Park in Waynesboro, which was not misty but could see the fog
along the ridge and lower hills. Two Bald Eagles observed here plus a
Nighthawk. Moved back to the Inn at mountain at 1:15, but thick fog
continued (but no mist), then started to drizzle before quitting. Temps
65-72F. No wind. 100% cloud cover with low, grey clouds.
Raptor Observations:
Two adult Bald Eagles viewed flying low heading SW in Waynesboro (12:45 and
12:50).
Non-raptor Observations:
A Common Nighthawk flying through in Waynesboro
