Observation start time: 06:15:00
Observation end   time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 9.75 hours

Official Counter:        Anna Stunkel

Observers:        Julia Magill

Weather:
Winds were light and variable, generally from the east southeast. Skies
were overcast to partly cloudy, with temperatures in the fifties to high
sixties. There was a brief rain shower in the afternoon. We enjoyed seeing
a variety of beautiful clouds, including cirrocumulus and altocumulus.

Raptor Observations:
The raptor flight was slow, but we had a few nice looks at low birds,
including some local Bald Eagles. Most of the migrants were high-flying
today.

Non-raptor Observations:
We had an excellent flight of 748 Blue Jays. Many Red-bellied Woodpeckers
were also on the move, with 28 seen heading southwards. Warblers were
fairly active, mainly including Yellow-rumped Warblers, Blackpoll Warblers,
Northern Parulas, Palm Warblers, and Cape May Warblers. Other highlights
included:

55 Cedar Waxwings
10 Great Blue Herons
10 Killdeer
8 Red-breasted Nuthatches (this is probably an undercount)
6 House Finches
4 Pine Siskins

3 Common Loons
3 Purple Finches
2 Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers
1 Baltimore Oriole
1 Dickcissel
