Weather:
Light winds were from the northeast and east northeast. It was mostly sunny
in the morning and partly cloudy in the afternoon, with temperatures in the
high sixties to low eighties.

Raptor Observations:
We had good kestrel, Merlin, and Cooper's Hawk movement today, along with
six peregrines and the first red-shoulder of the season. A kettle of 15
broad-wings was seen this morning, along with a few other small groups
throughout the day. The Swallow-tailed Kite was not seen.

Non-raptor Observations:
A Great Horned Owl was calling behind the platform this afternoon. Other
highlights included:

17 Killdeer
1 Black-throated Blue Warbler
1 Pileated Woodpecker
