Weather:
Moderate winds were generally from the southwest and south southwest, with
mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid forties to low sixties.
Raptor Observations:
Very slow, but the highlight of the day was a dark morph Rough-legged Hawk!
The bird was of unknown age, and it passed low, rapidly, and relatively
nearby on the east side, heading northwards at 11:25 am.
Non-raptor Observations:
A Common Loon was heard calling today. Other observations included:
3 American Pipits
1 American Black Duck
1 Horned Lark
1 Pileated Woodpecker
2 Monarchs
