Weather:
Light winds were generally from the east northeast in the morning, becoming
more southeasterly in the afternoon. Skies varied between partly cloudy and
mostly clear, with temperatures in the mid sixties to seventies.

Raptor Observations:
There was a strong flight of a variety of raptor species today, including a
decent accipiter flight. Many birds were high-flying in the afternoon. We
saw the first red-shoulder of the season today.

Non-raptor Observations:
Flickers were on the move en masse again, with 1,403 of them counted. Other
observations included:

14 Red-bellied Woodpeckers
5 Red-headed Woodpeckers
3 Red-breasted Nuthatches
3 Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers
2 Common Nighthawks

1 Dark-eyed Junco (FOS)
1 Dickcissel (FOS)
