Howdy all,
We managed to catch 34 individuals yesterday but had some good birds to make it
an interesting day. The morning started off good then slowed, picked back up
and then died. But all in all, still a very good day. Highlights of the day
include a Mourning Warbler, Louisiana Waterthrush, and Prothonotary Warbler!!
Birds banded 8/18:
Warblers:
Redstart             5
Prairie                4
Mourning            1
Yellow                1
Prothonotary       1
N. Waterthrush    2
L. Waterthrush     1
Ovenbird              1
Worm-eating        1
Y-B Chat             1

Others:
Blue Grosbeak            1
Indigo Bunting             1
Orchard Oriole             2
Yellow-billed Cuckoo    1
Carolina Wren              3
N. Mockingbird             4
N. Cardinal                  4

There was more birds in the trees today. I wish we would have caught a few more
but hopefully they are still around this morning!!

Cheers,
Jethro Runco
