Hello!
Yesterday (October 27th) at 9 a.m., on the side of the road at the Tom's
Cove visitor center. Two Lapland Longspurs feeding vigorously on the side
of the road by the air pump house, keeping low. The wind coming off of the
ocean and inlet was fierce.
I posted the find with photos on ebird yesterday evening, and am waiting
for the admin to confirm as the checklist considers it a rarity. It may or
may not be up yet.

This was a lifer for us.
