Yesterday afternoon, Kim Hafner, Rob Speiden, and I found a basic-plumaged
adult Laughing Gull on the New River at McCoy on the Blacksburg CBC.? The were
also about 500 Ring-billed Gulls, and single 1st and 2nd cycle Herring Gulls
present.? We first saw the bird at 4pm and watched it until about 4:20pm if
anyone is interested in looking for it.? I have very poor digiscopes and
digivideo, so it would be great if someone else could get some better
documentation.
