My earlier report about a possible juv. white morph Reddish Egret in
Chincoteague might be a Little Egret with muddy feet. I checked in with
Greg Butcher, Director of Bird Conservation at National Audubon, and he thought
it would be worth sending around to interested folks on this list.
So, I wanted to encourage others to get out there and take a look at the actual
bird or look at my photos. It will be easier to reach me on my
