Today I observed a Loggerhead Shrike on Featherbed Road in Clarke County. It
was perched on a fence next to a Cedar tree about a quarter mile south of Rt.
340. It was the first cross fence, which is very near a small pond across the
road. This area is very near Dinosaur Land/Double Tollgate at Rts. 522 & 340.
We have had this species on this road with various degrees of regularity for
the previous 3 years.
