The loggerhead shrike located by Elisa Enders was present yesterday
afternoon at 4:00 perched on a small tree on the north side of the same
roundabout just as she described. Thanks Elisa!
We also checked out the large borrow pit at Sherwood Lakes development about
a mile north on Princess Anne Rd. There we found large rafts of Coots,
Pied-billed Grebes, and large numbers of Tree Swallows. Mixed in with the
Coots was also a few Ring-necked Ducks and a single Redhead.
