I managed to go look for the shrike this afternoon (at about 4pm), after work.
It is still at the third roundabout. Sometimes, it would perch in the field to
the north. I was wrong about the color combo of the bands on its left leg. They
are dark green over yellow. I will post the response I receive regarding the
bird's origin. I was able to take a few pictures too.
I have been getting a few questions about directions. Here are the GPS
coordinates from my GPS: N 36.73368, W076.00296. They don't seem to match the
shrike's location exactly. The bird is a little east of these coordinates (by
the roundabout).
