Birders,

A Louisiana Waterthrush was singing with great gusto this morning as I
began walking along Swift Shoals Road just under the Rt. 50 Bridge across
the Shenandoah River. It then flew into a bush right next to me. Also seen
in the same location were two bright Palm Warblers, a small flock of
Yellow-rumped Warblers, a second Waterthrush, and a Brown Thrasher.

Lovely wildflowers including bluebells just beginning and some orchid- like
flowers that I will have to find in my wildflower guide. Spring has sprung!
