Apologies for this odd post, but my wife and I were waiting at a traffic
light on Rt 11 near the Lowes on the north side Winchester when three very
noisy Macaws flew by. I'm afraid I was not able to identify them to
species. My wife said they had a lot of blue on their back, but I wasn't
able to see any color on the birds - just the bill shape and extremely long
tails. We pulled off the road, and the three macaws flew by again (now
heading toward I-81), but by the time I got my binoculars out of the car,
they were long gone.
I hope their owners manage to find these birds. Quite a sight, though.
