Hello birders,
I think the highlights here are probably Blackburnian and Tennessee Warblers,
and Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
Today (Saturday) I found 11 warbler species at the New York Monuments location
(Prince William county). That matches one day ten years ago, for my best ever
fall day for warblers. (And that one in 2007 was a group outing at Mason Neck,
led by Jody Bucknam and Kurt Gaskill, after a storm fallout.) Today's species
list is below.
In the fall, besides warblers, this location seems particularly reliable to me
for Pewee, Cuckoo, and Tanager.
