I swung over to the Battlefield this afternoon and did the Chinn Ridge loop.
Dozens of White-throats and Junco were feeding at the road edges where a
little turf was exposed. Among them was one Fox Sparrow and at least three
Hermits Thrushes. The Merlin was absent from its usual tree-top perch.
