Hello
Saturday's field trip through the Manassas Battlefield sponsored by ASNV. One
leader, Jack Carroll and one hearty participant, Bob Shipman and birded several
sites at the battlefield. The NY Monument, Sparrow Alley, Deep Cut, the
shopping center and a pond on the backside. Earlier in the morning there was
thunder and lightning but had subsided by the time the walk started, however
there was light rain sporatically throughout the morning, it was rather
pleasant and it did not hinder the walk.
