Last Friday afternoon 1/26/2018 I observed and was able to photograph
Red-shouldered Hawks copulating near the Long Branch Nature Center building
in Arlington. I would have thought this is extremely early for such
behavior. I wasn't able to find anything useful on typical timing and would
be interested in hearing directly from anyone who has more information.I
have not seen any signs of a new nest but could easily have missed
