My husband spotted a mature Bald Eagle flying over our yard on the evening
of 03/06/14 at approximately 5:30pm. He came in the house and told me and I
took some very far away photos of it. I was able to zoom in on the back of
the camera to confirm its identity. It was flying right above the tree
line. The closest river is several miles away, but we do have several ponds
behind us and around our property. We felt very lucky to have witnessed
this visitor.
