VA BIRDers,
I created some free time so I cout visit Huntley Meadows, starting on the
westside (Telegraph Rd entrance) for a few hours this morning at 6am. I
came back for almost 2 hrs near sunset on the boardwalk (east) side. It was
a pleasant day of birding, diversity was pretty good. Highlight was
Golden-winged Warbler (no indication of hybridization). Lots of misses, but
probably typical for the beginning of May. The list is below.
