This is the last day on the extreme dates in the Mountains and Valleys, for the
Merlin. So I was very surprised when one flew close by overhead, at Spruce
Creek Park, Nelson County. It was obviously a female. Another treat today was a
single female Bobolink on the Glenthorne Loop.
