I visited Metz wetlands and Neabsco creek this morning. Lots of gulls in
Neabsco Creek, although nothing unusual yet. A catbird was calling from
somewhere in the brush, and 2 pipits were along the shore. Of note in Metz
were 3 hermit thrushes, a rusty blackbird, and another pipit. I saw 44 species
in all.
