Yesterday in Orange County, VA, Wilderness Military National Park,
Hill-Ewell Drive, (a favorite "local-patch") I heard two signing Louisiana
Water-thrush and a Winter Wren, and a lingering Yellow-rumped Warbler. What
is the late date for Butter-buts?
Today, at Shenandoah National Park, Rose River Falls, there was at least
one, probably more --not solitary ;) !! , Blue-headed Vireo.
Checking out the Bluebird boxes along the W&OD trail, at Clarks Crossing,
Vienna, VA, notables included FOS Blue-gray Gnat-catcher.
Cheers,
Phil
