My apologies if my response to Rich's announcement was misunderstood. I only
intended to clarify that the burning of the meadows is a positive step in
the preservation of an endangered habitat. I was concerned that the usage of
the
word "despite". which means "regardless of", would insinuate that the burn
was a bad thing. I am encouraged to see that not everyone saw it as such.
