Four birders joined Bob Klarquist and me at Leesylvania State Park. It was
a beautiful morning for a walk but very quiet birding. There were large
numbers of Laughing Gulls and multiple flocks of grackles in the park, but
we were unable to find much variety and moved on to Julie Metz Wetlands
after a couple of hours. The Wetlands were a bit livelier and produced the
most interesting observation of the morning: a least flycatcher. The
complete list follows.
