The 52nd Supplement to the AOU checklist is out at

Haven't had a chance to digest it all yet, looks like some of our international
birders may gain some species from splits from Old World species, and maybe
lose a couple to lumps. For purely Virginia birders - Common Gallinule is back
as the result of the split from the Old World Common Moorhen. There are some
changes in the classification sequences - Northern Wheatear has been moved to
the Old World Flycatchers, and a bunch of our New World Warblers get new
Scientific names (thankfully their common names haven't changed).
I'll be incorporating these changes into a revision of the state checklist on
the VARCOM web site in the near future.
